Who We Are
Communications experts and longtime colleagues Zahra Aziz and Lauren Wolkoff are steeped in global health and international development. In 2015, Zahra founded Mozaic, a minority-woman-owned and –run business that strives to harness the power of communications to change the world for the better.
Since our founding, we have helped numerous organizations—from small nonprofits to major universities and UN agencies—achieve their strategic communications and advocacy goals. We have supported local efforts in 22 countries across Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Americas.
We understand that thinking big entails starting small. We are bold in aspiration and practical in implementation, creating the necessary structures and frameworks to bring big thinking into sharp focus. Lean enough to be nimble, we also have a strong network of collaborators that we can bring to bear for any size project. We are well versed in the issues you care about, and have a profound understanding of partnerships, media, messaging, content creation, project management, and the power of storytelling.
Beyond being doers, we are listeners who believe strongly that how we get the work done is as important as the quality of the work itself. To this end we bring a fresh, authentic, and collaborative way of working.
